correct headlamps 1933 10/4

Can anyone tell me the correct Lucas headlamp for my 1933 10/4.
I have various pairs of lamps , they are MB140.
M140 and L140 which one is correct ?
also does the shell have the large Lucas emblem on it or is it plain ?
finally, is the lens a flat lens with frosted glass or the slightly domed type with the ' U ' in the middle  ?A

Yes, headlamp shell will have a Lucas badge. The headlamp glass will be flat.

Rule of thumb is Flat Rad = Flat Glass, Cowled Rad = Domed Glass.

That said many cars had different lamps fitted over the years including step-down rims to take sealed-beam units.

Thanks Peter, that helps me a lot, now if I could just get the model number on the base of the lamp that would be great !
