LICHFIELD REBORN

Roland Gugger's 1935 Lichfield back on the road 9th June 08.

The restoration of this car has been a labour of love and much help has come from ATDC members in the UK.
Many parts have been supplied together with hints and tips along the way.
This is what being part of a friendly car club is all about.

Roland has taken hundreds of pictures of this project and I have selected a few to share with you.

I will start with Roland's team of merry men and women.

Roland seen here sporting a "nice pair of bright eyes"
Roland's wife Patrica would have preferred an
Austin Healey or AC Cobra but a Ten will do.

Johnny, a close friend, who provided much of the mechanical knowledge. Sadly he passed away in April before the
completion of the project.
Bernard the Mechanical "magician" with Pedro in support
Roland's son Nicholas here with his little project. 1971 Fiat 500
Daughter Nathalie is crazy about Mini's

What is Black and White and Red all over (news paper)
Back from the paint shop, after reading the news it only left Black and White!!

Good as new though I wouldn't want to be the first to get in with mucky boots.

The day of judgement - Passes with flying colours.
Job done. But it's all too much for some!!

Since completing the restoration the car has had several long runs around the country side without missing a beat.
