"because it is not on DVLA does not mean it does not exist, somewhere."

True, which is why I only wrote "likely". The story about "Albert" is a good example.

The Swansea computer was introduced in the 1980s and amazingly there are still cars turning up that have not yet been registered on a V5 - so just because it is not on DVLA does not mean it does not exist, somewhere.

Hi John,
DVLA have no record so it is likely the car no longer exists.

My grandfather owned an Austin 10 / 4 reg no. BXT 21 and was being driven up to about 40 years ago. I then lost touch with it and wondered if it was still running
Anybody out there know of its existence or history?

Many thanks
