Re: 1934 Austin 10 Tourer Back Light for Brakes/Stop/Indicator
Hey Peter, the single rear lamp for the 38 onwards cars is a Lucas ST52/A, I believe. While you don't seem to be able to get an exact replica with the dividing bar across the red lens, the Ford 103E Popular rear lamp E04A-13407 is a reasonable facsimile if anyone is desperate. My 39 Goodwood has on...

Re: 1934 Austin 10 Tourer Back Light for Brakes/Stop/Indicator
It depends what kind of rear lights you need but there are a number of sources of suitable types for an Austin 10. Round "pork pie" lights were fitted to the Tens and larger Austins from 1931 to 1936. The new models introduced in Aug 1936, Cambridge, New Ascot an Goodwood etc had D lamps at the rear...

Re: How do I move a thread to a different topic?
That is not something that a user can do - see FAQ / Posting Issues. You can edit your own posts and delete them if nobody has replied. If you have started a thread which you think needs to be moved to a more appropriate topic, message me and I will see if I or the administrator can do it. Or, if yo...

Re: Steering issue
Andrew Steering - At the risk of stating the blinking obvious - did you check the tyre pressures? Suggest you do an MoT style check on the king pins (swivel pins), steering joints, front wheel bearings and spring shackles - you will need "dirty help" for this. If you are a club member there is a saf...

Les Hemmings and I are actively trying to get new castings made. Be patient as everything takes a long time at the moment, with casting company front offices closed etc. Thanks Roger for keeping us informed. One of the benefits of the website forum :) Wearing my nerd hat, the Bottom Water Branch wa...

Re: Colwyn Top and Rear Hood Hinges and Spare mount
Regarding bumpers, single or dual blade. My 1933 10/4 has a single blade front and rear. I am told by other club member here in NZ that this was typical on export models along with 18 inch tyres It may be the the car imported to the US was a real 10/4 built for export by the factory. Cheers Gary VA...
