10/4 Clifton on film - Whisky Galore
BBC 2 is showing the film Whisky Galore from 5pm this evening. Besides being a cracking good film it includes an Austin 10/4 Clifton 2-seat & dickey tourer driven by James Robertson Justice. He fills the car rather as his presence on screen!

The full description is in ATDC Magazine Technical Reprints Vol 1 pages 31 & 3...

Re: Looking for the owner of an Austin 10 BUW634
Andy The good news is that this car is still registered with the DVLA as being on the road. It has been on the ATDC database for several decades but does not have any current member claiming ownership of it. With the Data Protection Act and more recently GDPA making it difficult to access informatio...

Re: Tappets
No there is not a Technical Fact Sheet for valve clearance adjustment as this is covered in most handbooks. E.G. Pitman's by Staton Abbey page 56, Collins by Hawks pages 69 & 70, the Austin 10/4 hanbook page 49, and in the ATDC Magazine Technical Reprints Vol I pages 18 & 19 in the article on decarb...
