Re: BODY ROLL
In the 1980s a club member used to market "spring aids" which were had a pointy top which just touched the chassis. Members including myself never had trouble with the MoT because of them. But they were not hollow, I know that because my spare pair got trashed by tools in my toolbox. I once used one...

A solution used by one member is to fit Ford Escort rear bump stops on the front springs of the 10 as in the attached picture. These are bigger and more s...

Re: Austin Collection under Auction in August
I notice the very usable 1933 Austin 10 4 str tourer that sold at the auction for £5800 plus 10% is on ebay for £7999 so no time wasted there. Noticed 2 very respectable 1934 Cabriolets on ebay for £8500 and £8750 respectively. Last year they would have been over £10000? "Nice little earner" as Art...

Re: Austin Collection under Auction in August
Apologies. The van has got a V5 (that shows the first regn date as Dec37 which is still incorrect as the JG registration finished before that and 9127 coincides with Feb 37.) Phil Yes I had spotted that. Late '37 would have to be a GVA van in Cambridge style. I suspect that at some time this van ha...

Re: Austin 10 registration JGK 453
MarkG Suggest you also post on Facebook Austin 10 Owners Group. I hate to say it but has more numbers than this forum (shame on you ATDC members) and may be more likely to get a response. JGK 453 does not currently showup on ATDC database Last V5 said to be 1996 which indicales last change of owner ...

Club Car Insurance with RH Specialist Vehicle Insurance
Today renewed my policy on the Austins. Received a renewal notice last week and had been looking at alternative quotes as price had risen again this year. Closest I could find was 18% more than RH and with severely limited mileage. RH is unlimited mileage. Also my Cambridge is covered for "on the dr...
