What would be the correct torque setting for these nuts allan4846@sky.com 07752120069
I have been told to tighten with a spanner by feel which only comes with experience

The recommendation is to use a spanner and tighten by hand so you can feel the correct tightness. This is particularly important if you are using the old head studs, which can be easily snapped or pulled out of the block.
However if you have put in new studs and are using new nuts and washers a torque setting of 34ftlbs has been used, and dont forget to retighten after you have run the car for a couple of hundered miles (when the engine is cold).
