Would be interested to hear of places for working on a 1937 12-4 Eton, ideally somewhere in north Hertfordshire, south Beds or Cambs. Old Arley, near Coventry, have worked on the car before (thumbs up for them!) but wondering if there is a closer option.
Particularly need steering, brake and suspension expertise.
Appreciate any suggestions, and experiences.

You could google for classic car servicing and repairs near you and then contact them to see if they are familiar with pre-war cars. Most of them would be used to 50s and 60s stuff but they are not that different from 1930s mechanical practice

You don't say where you are located but I use Chris of Classic and Retro Ltd in Sible Hedingham which is about 15 minutes drive from Cambridge. Excellent work on my brakes, king pins, steering etc on both my 10/4 and also my 12/4 Ascot. Also specialised in MG T series cars.
