Yes Peter we have been talking today about fabricating a repair on ours because we can’t find one the same size only in brass which I don’t think would look right . Will let you know how we get on 👍

Unless I had a totally original and unrestored car, I’d be tempted to buy an Austin Seven one, they are smaller and only about ten quid cheaper though!

Just spotted this Peter, you can get the badge with and without “Seven”…. all the flat rad Sevens just had the Austin script, so just choose the early one!

Austin script badges for the flat-rad 10 are available from ATDC Spares so no need to seek one from Seven Workshop. Past posts on this thread refer to the cast badge without visible screw holes that fit the cowled rad cars. The Club used to have these in stock but either the supplier went out of business or the cost of aluminium castings in small batches got too high (both perennial problems alas).

Casting the “no screw” badges might be a nice little winter project then!

Instead of a casting, if originality/Concours status isn’t an imperative, why not Laser/water jet cut the script from plate, and alter the threaded boss & screw securing configuration to a threaded stud (Loctited into the script), a loose spacer bushing and a nyloc nut?
