Austin 10 registration JGK 453
Austin 10 registration JGK 453
I have a photo of my grandfather in his Austin 10, the registration is shown as JGK 453. DVLA seems to show that the car still exists but not taxed or MOT'd; it says the car was first registered on 1 May 1947. I remember it in his garage as child, until he passed away, which must have been the early 1970's.I am merely interested in seeing if it is still about and happy to share the photo I have if that is of interest to the current owner. Perhaps the current owner is a member of the Club?

Suggest you also post on Facebook Austin 10 Owners Group. I hate to say it but has more numbers than this forum (shame on you ATDC members) and may be more likely to get a response.
JGK 453 does not currently showup on ATDC database
Last V5 said to be 1996 which indicales last change of owner I believe.

Thank you Peter, I have taken your advice and posted on Facebook. I realise it may be a long shot but thought it worth a go.

Once again this case demonstrates the true value of our cars retaining their original registration numbers, here’s hoping the car still has it and you can find it!
