Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone one would know if the 1932 Austin 10 registration number GY 7721 is still in existence. My cousin Garry Noble who lived in the Edwinstowe Nottinghamshire owned this car in the late 70's into the early 80's. It holds special memories for me as it was the first vehicle I ever helped to re commission. Further, on August 16th 1980 this lovely little car was used as our wedding transportation. On the way to Church my wife sat alone in the back with my Uncle at the wheel with my 6'2" future father-in-law seated along side him. After the ceremony my Uncle drove my new bride and I to the reception, along the way we were joined by a fire engine that was returning from a call. Much to our delight the engine followed us for a mile or so through the centre of St Albans bells ringing, sirens blowing and lights flashing, what a way to announce our union. A week later the 10 or Gloria as my cousin affectionately called her was used again as transport for his sister Wendy's wedding. I have pictures from both events and if Gloria is still in existence I would be happy to share them with her current custodian.
