Austin 10/4 Tourer Side lamps

Hello.
I have owned many Austin's over the years and have one in the family for 40 years+. Anyways I recently acquired a 1935 10/4 4:door tourer.
Now here's the interesting thing. Car came to us in a extremely beat down but original paint kind of condition, the front wings don't have the original holes for the Lucas 1130 side lamps. I have inspected them thoroughly and no holes were shut , instead the car has 2 brackets one on each side which are fitted right above the knee vents which had Lucas ld109 fitted on,they seem to be factory fitted from the finish and the wiring holes in the body.
Could anyone shed "light" on the topic. .
Any help would be appreciated .
Regards
Hassan

Are you sure it is a 10? The early Lt12 has sidelamps where you describe.

Please can you email me some pictures at moderator@austintendriversclub.com ? Might help to identify if it is a rare model or has been modified in its life. I can post some on here if you wish.
