hi, have found a plate whith GC then the Chasses number , i know the G stands for a 10 what does the C stand for please .

GC prefix is the "Car No" also known as the body number. Early Austin 10 saloons from April 1932 until August 1933 had GC numbers. These numbers do not align with the chassis Nos prefixed G.

So would it be GC then the engine number ?

No, an Austin 10 engine number would start 1G followed by the number, for example 1G1234.

''Austin did not align chassis and car numbers until August 1936'' this means the chassis number didn't match the body number until August 1936 when the Cambridge model was launched.

Ok got that so .
So car number would be GC. then a number , which is not the chassesa number or engin number ?

Just looked at my engine number , looks like 1G more than IG ?

Yes it is - it's many years since I looked at my 10's engine (!) and the log book makes the 1 look like an I !!
