Jasper,
My 1933 10/4 with Zenith 26VA carb had an adjustable type ball ends in brass cages.
(You spin the cages one way or the other to make the link longer or shorter)
The ball ends are held captive by a brass slotted screw end. A small split pin slide slides through a hole in the cage and goes through the slotted screw driver slot to be bent over on the other side.
If you have the same throttle connection rod then you will need to remove the split pins and screw out the slotted ends to free the connecting rod.
When re-assembling put a small blob of grease on the ball end ( at both ends ) before tightening the slotted screw cap. not too tight as some ball movement is needed. align the slot with the split pin holes and reinsert the split pin. The brass cages are locked on the connecting shaft with a lock nut at each end.
Check tighten these as well.
