Oil for rear axle?

After replacing the rear hub oil seals on my New Ascot, I want to change the oil. I've always used Morris's in the past but my local supplier has closed. There are suppliers who advertise classic 140 grade oil but apart from Silkolene, who make Rhino 140 ( with a mild EP spec) I've not heard of them...

Thanks to all who replied. Using a combination of your advice, I swapped the nuts over and was able to tighten and secure one side, while a little judicious filing on the other saw a new split pin home and dry on the other. They might be tighter than 150lb but they're not likely to come loose. Thank...

Hello all, after fitting new hub seals to a 1937 Ascot, I tightened them up as much as I dare but now I cannot see the holes to fit the split pin. I've been offered all sorts of advice from filing the back of the nut to slacking the nut off then tightening up to the nearest hole, but what is the def...
