The car doesn't show up as being taxed, if it has not been heard of since 1957 it has likely been scrapped. Perhaps the Vintage Austin Register know something?

The Public Requests for Club Assistance board is intended for non-members - the whole world can read it.
Use the members part, only members can access it, there is even a board for new members although now you don't need it...

Ha, me too. Out on a test run I stopped to check if all was well and found black dust everywhere under the bonnet. The fan belt was too loose and was very nearly through the hose. Turned out one thread in the clamp holding the dyno was not doing its job. The badly repaired crack in the cradle had op...

Put the hose on the branch and fit them as a unit. BUT it will still be a b++++r because the branch has to be got on to the studs and the hose on to the rad at the same time. Best method is to remove the studs and bolt the branch up with correct length bolts. Looks neater too.
