When my boot lock was broken, by an over-enthusiastic twist by a mate, I bought a mini boot handle and fitted that. In appearance it is quite close and has a modern lock. But my Cambridge does not have original door handles either.

Brian There is a guide on loading photos in the members forum. Basically you need to prepare your photo by compressing it for the web and in your post click on add attachment and select the compressed pic from your photo-file then click on place inline. You may need to click return key once or twice...

Possible causes:
  • Pedal stuck under footmat
  • Broken return spring
  • linkage needs lubrication - light oil
  • linkage jams on something
  • butterfly in carb sticking
Suggest U get an assistant to move the throttle pedal while you look at the mechanism under the bonnet.

All Cambridge are 2- brush with voltage regulator (in control box). 3-brush went out sometime in 1934 with the 10. D on the control box is correct, the other connection being Ign on the back of the switch
