The bottom water branch lasts about 25 years in my experience. It was the first new parts project for the club back in the early 1970s when most 10s needed them and they were no longer obtainable.

Saturday had to use the RH recovery scheme when the 10 refused to go beyond the boundaries of BANES. I was given an ETA of 90 minutes and within that time the Hinton truck had arrived and the car loaded. Yes - when new with glass lens in metal rim and with a Lucas medallion on top of the body, rim and body chromed. Single filament bulb. The 5" badge with holes at the ends is for the chrome rad cars. The Austin script badge on the cowled rads including the Cambridge is longer (6" the broken one I have) and does not have holes right thru the ends but is fastened from behind.
