Re: Austin 10 GS1 1945 colours
Grey is possible. On my browser & screen it looks pale blue. On-screen colours are notoriously variable - even more so than printed material. It certainly looks like an extract from a period brochure.

Re: Austin 10 GS1 1945 colours
Certainly black, but colours may have been blue, maroon and green. https://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/austin/ten_gen__2/ten_gen__2_saloon/1947.html Most of these cars were sent for export. In the UK if you wanted a new car you had to get on a waiting list, or pay well over the list price. Even ...

Re: Austin Windsor photo identification
I only have the photo, so no frame number. Yes I hope someone might be a Windsor 'expert' and might be able to provide me some clues to look for. I have tried emailing a couple of local state clubs, but they have not replied as yet. Mark There are several Austin Windsor (and "New Windsor" ) models....

Re: Help !!!!! BAP 2
At present this 1938 Austin does not appear to be owned by a member of this club, sadly as it appears t be an unusual model. The DVLA shows the car as currently taxed for use on the road. DVLA might be willing to pass on a request to the current owner. Not sure how that would work but they happily se...

Re: Andre Hartford Shock Absorbers
It is not essential to jack the axle or car to remove the shocks, but it may be handy to have more room to work by using ramps or axle stands (assuming you do not have a pit or hoist)

Re: BODY ROLL
Hi. I've recently joined the ranks of Austin 10 owners and have only just started to drive the car. I find that the car seems to have an excessive amount of body roll in corners, is this usual or is it something that needs to be addressed through some adjustment? The car in question is a 1933 10/4....

10/4 Clifton on film - Whisky Galore
BBC 2 is showing the film Whisky Galore from 5pm this evening. Besides being a cracking good film it includes an Austin 10/4 Clifton 2-seat & dickey tourer driven by James Robertson Justice. He fills the car rather as his presence on screen!
