both the Starter motor and the Dynamo should be marked accordingly.
Even if they are rusty, once de-rusted the the impressed markings will be visible.
The chassis number will also be an indicator but I don't have my book available.

There is no air filter as such on pre-Cambridge - just a metal disc which may act as a deflector but is there primarily as part of the choke mechanism mounting.

Have found a company called Fiennes Parts.
The site seems current, however, I would want to know that the tank part of the Hobson system is intact and working before spending on the fluid.

You can get the fluid from america but apart from it being not very human friendly, it can evaporate and the system is somewhat unreliable at the tank end.

Definitely a bitsa/special, unfortunately someone will likely buy it believing it to be genuine.
