Having done a partial engine overhaul over the winter and having put everything back together there were a few teething problems getting the engine
up and running again - including the leaking manifold stud from my last post.
I'm happy to report that all is now well in the engine compartment and the 10/4 runs sweetly again!
Have had the rusty old petrol tank lined and this is now back home ready to replace before re-assembling the rear shackles, wheels back on , re-fitting
the nicely overhauled dampers, fitting the new seat base, a good old clean up and then we're off for a road test.
The old girl hasn't been out for months so surely a run down the lane will be part of her daily allowance of an hour out exercising!
Thanks for the helpful advice in ironing out the problems and looking forward to getting
out joggling!
All best.
Andrew
