The Diamond Jubilee National Event will be held at De Vere Horsley Estate and Towers in Surrey. This will be celebrated as the prime event of the Diamond Jubilee year of the Club.

Longbridge Shield
An award origionally intended to encourage incremental restoration of cars while also used on the road
This year the components to be judged for the Longbridge Shield are the dashboard and instruments. See Feb mag p8.

Deadlines

Printed Programme - For your car to appear in the Event Programme you need to get your entry in by Friday 16th May
- Meal Bookings - The deadline for booking the Friday Gala Dinner and Saturday Evening Buffet has been extended to Friday 6th June. Please specify if you have any food allergies or specific needs such as gluten-free
- After 6th June - pre-bookings for the event will not be possible after 6th June but you can still take part by booking at the gate though be prepared to queue
- Refunds - The deadline for claiming refunds for cancellation remains 6th June
Rooms at deVere Horseley Estate
Book direct with deVere or via your favourite online booking website (Booking.com, Trivgo, Expedia) which offer late cancellation without penalty.
If booking direct with deVere sign up to Applause their free-to-join club which has special offers, discounts and other member benefits.
The hotel caters for many events throughout the year and has plenty of accommodation but the bedrooms are on a first come first reserved basis, so dont leave it too long to book
