WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Saturday 5th September 2026: Autumn Social Drive Out
Kick-start your weekend early with a scenic road run. A fantastic opportunity to take in the beautiful local scenery and visit local places of interest. Details to be shared with interested parties ahead of the event.
Sunday 6th September 2026: The Main Gathering
Location: Hestercombe House & Gardens near Taunton, Somerset.
Arrival Time: Ideally, 9:00 AM-10:00 AM for display vehicles.
Departures: Flexible. If you need to head off early for a daylight journey home, that is absolutely fine. Club stewards in high-vis vests will be on hand to safely escort any vehicles moving through the grounds while the public is on site.
Our club has been invited to display our vehicles in the prime location directly in front of the main house. While the gathering will primarily showcase our Austins, a wider range of classics are more than welcome to join the line-up to add to the day's variety.
If you can’t make it in a classic car, come along in your daily driver. Modern vehicles will need to park in the main public area, but do come along to meet fellow ATDC members and enjoy the cars on display.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Hestercombe boasts over 50 acres of stunning, historic gardens. Members and their families are warmly encouraged to bring along a picnic, enjoy a leisurely stroll, and make the most of the beautiful surroundings and excellent company. There is also delicious homemade food available onsite.
FREE ENTRY
In an incredibly generous gesture, Hestercombe has waived its standard £16.90 per-person entry fee for our group, whether you are attending in a classic or modern car. Instead, we ask for a £1 donation from each vehicle occupant, to support Hestercombe’s work as a registered charity. Please remember to bring spare change.
