September Magazine

Unfortunately, due to a fault with a machine at the printers recently, there was a delay in completing the print run of the September magazine. The machine has now been repaired and the magazine will be posted shortly. Members should receive their copy this week. ATDC Magazine Editor

Picture shows one of the earliest magazines to include a photo on the cover - August 1973 - on Quarto size paper.

The whole task was done by club members: editing & typing, cover design, printing, collating & stapling, stuffing & posting envelopes. Printing on a second-hand offset-litho machine took one volunteer 5 full evenings every month.  Collating & stapling took several volunteers a whole evening. Copy was typed onto paper plates by the Editor's wife and an assistant. Envelopes were addressed by the Membership Secretary from his card index, updated monthly for new and departing members.
